Oh no! Midnight Run will get a sequel
• I'M NOT EXACTLY SURE WHAT TO THINK ABOUT THIS. NO, STRIKE that. I do know how I feel about it. I'm not happy with it. It's like one of my other all time favorite movies The Blues Brothers. For years they respectfully managed to leave John Landis' masterpiece alone, but in the end they couldn't help themselves and came up with Blues Brothers 2000. What a farce.And now they're going to touch A Midnight Run (1988). Jack Walsh will have to bring in another fugitive. Sigh. Universal has hired Tim Dowling to write a sequel. Bobby DeNiro will return, the retired Charles Grodin won't. Ah well.
